Live from Montana Knifemakers show

a fitting way to end the show is with the winner of the best display -- Larry McLaughlin who was mentioned earlier for his marketing of knives.

Congratulations to all the winners and the participants. Those that have not attended this show might want to schedule it particularily if you can catch PKA the week before. Everyone has a lot of fun and there are load of raffles including 26 custom knives and close to 2500 tickets sold and lots of knives sold by makers to attendees.

This is the end of this show for those in attendance and those of you viewing on the internet as we are going to work our way back into BC likely for awhile longer.

here is the MKA website www.montanaknifemakers.com

take a look and keep the calendar available for next year

supplier Chuck Bybee has this tusk available for sale for a price of $3750 as I recall

That's one beautiful Tusk. $3750 is a lot money, but considering the number of handle slabs?
Don't recall seeing as nice un-cut ivory at Blade Show as you are showing from these vendors.

Thank you, Mr. White, for all the effort.

I just went through this Thread twice, just to enjoy the fine knives one more time.

So many good knife-makers, so little time! :D

Murry, It was great to meet you and your lovely wife there. Enjoyed our chats. Thanks for the impressive review.
Drive homeward safely.

Most excellent report on the show! Due to making it to Blade this year, I couldn't afford the travel to Montana at this time... But you did portray one of Ray's hawks that's coming this way when I hit Blade West! :D
As to the rest, it looks like it was a wonderful show this year, with my only regret being not to run into the guys I've met there over the years... It's always been a very personable show!
Thanks for helping bring the show to the rest of us, Murray! Terrific job!

Randy -- sorry I missed you as it would have been good to chat. I was at the show all three days and in fact on Sat. I was in the corner next to Mr Rodewade and 90 degree to JD Barth uploading and editing images for BF.

Walked around of Fri and Sun but was in room whole time as usual -- only get me out dragging and kicking lol.

Glad everyone enjoyed the show photos etc and if someone knows whose photo I attributed incorrectly let me know and i can edit that.
