Thread resurrection...
I'm finally getting to the point where I want to etch some BUSSE logos on a couple of coated INFI blades and was curious...
Out of the two methods (battery vs ferric chloride), which one seems to give the deepest and sharpest results?
There has been mention of the coating/paint around the edge of the lasered logo softening or being compromised during the process. Would spreading each application out over the course of a week allowing the surrounding paint to fully dry and harden between treatments alleviate this or is the paint softened permanently?
Just want to get this right. Any recommendations or suggestions are appreciated!
Great info so far... Thank You!
