Long term edc, favorite all around knife

Kershaw Scallion w/ stainless handles recurve serrations from 2004 - 2009 then went to boker ak-47 auto and a BM 710

My favorite all around knife is the Ka-Bar/Becker/ESEE BK14 Eskabar, small enough to carry in a pocket but able to handle big jobs and inexpensive enough you're not afraid to use it.

My longest EDC was a Victorinox Ranger. Carried it every day for 8 years. Switched to a Farmer this year.

My longest-carried EDC knife is my Kershaw Chive. I've carried that thing for about four years now; it was my collection before I even had a collection. These days, I mostly rotate between a Benchmade 943, Kershaw Skyline, Spyderco Delica 4 FFG, and a Kershaw PackRat (in order of frequency), with my overall favorite being the Delica. It's not the prettiest or beefiest knife I own, but functionally I think it is the best at its job: cutting things.

I guess the Ummie has been with me the longest for EDC without getting damaged or lost. The scale got a little abraided when I first fgot it, so no safe queen. I started rotating in the Sterile HEST folder when I got it and now I'll probably start carrying the XM-18 some times. It's nice to have options.

My long-term EDC has always, and will always be my Victorinox Recruit my sister gave me in 2001. She got it during her time over Europe for her class trip when they stopped in Switzerland, and had it personalized with my name on it. After nearly a decade, it's still going strong and I only needed to replace the tweezers on it just recently - it's a perfect compliment to whatever folder I happen to be carrying that day.

Ive carried a Leatherman Wave or a Vic Swisschamp in either my car or in a backpack for 7ish years. My favorite overall knife is the Umnumzaan or Mnandi, but the ones I edc the most currently are the ZT 0551 or the Delica 4 ffg.

I carried a small Vic classic for about three years, then a small Buck Vantage for about a year, but for the last couple months I've been carrying a Vic Tinker. I have much higher end knives, but this SAK is the only knife that has managed to stay in my pocket every single day since I began carrying it.

Pretty sure me and my new Buck Vantage are going to be good friends for a long time.

I carried a Victorinox Spartan for about 25 years, even sent it in for free rescaling when the butyrate scales peeled off. Got a tweezers and toothpick out of the deal (old ones did not have those tools in the scales). The springs got tired so I got another SAK, a Tinker. The only difference is that the Spartan's corkscrew was replaced with the Tinker's Phillips driver. I use the driver more than I ever used the corkscrew. I have a trio of Tinkers that rotate in pocket. There are three because at one time I seemed to lose them all the time in upholstery. But they were eventually found and I no longer lose them like that.

Sebenza. Yellow Mini Ritter whenever I am fishing. SAK alox Soldier. Got a bunch of others, but these always end up in my pocket.

At the beginning of the year is was Para 2, right now it is the Titanium mini cyclone. but one just keeps coming back is the Benchmade 710, at twice a week.

My ZT 0200 has not left my pocket ever since i got it. it is big, beefy, sharp, and the handle is only surpassed by that of the spec bump. it is about the right length, and, since i have no need to wear anything but jeans, i don't feel the weight. the clip is unobtrusive, and i will never worry about it letting me down. now all i have to do is find a SAK i like, and i have it made.

My Queen stag classic Cattleknife....

The one knife that probably has had the most time in my pocket is the 940. I take it all the time.

Most EDC'd knife would have to be my SAK Farmer. Haven't used it in a while though.

My all time user is the Spyderco Cricket. Other than that my other EDC in my backpack is the Busse SAR 3 for its 3 inch blade. My most useless EDC knife was the Spyderco Progrip. Its a tough knife, but the VG-10 is a tough blade to keep sharp. In addition, my progrip had a parially serrated blade. It was a bit of a disappointment b/c it was my first mid-high priced knife which I bought 7 years ago. I still have it just to open and close, but nothing more.

My longest term EDC was/is a '99 Emerson CQC-7, which I still have. However, it's been replaced by a Sebenza, but I've had different ones (Although the current one will probably be the keeper). For a FB, my EDC is a Joe Brum HAK (HideAwayKnife) that's on my key-chain.
