  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Looking for a 5" Sharpened Prybar

The ESEE 5 fits the description almost exactly except the blade is 5.25 inches. It is a beast with a quarter inch 1095 carbon steel blade and the sharpened pry-bar moniker suits it well. This is a knife that will not shrink from any duty in the normal reality world...quite possibly any duty in any world or reality! LOL! Truly an excellent knife/prybar. It was originally designed with a serrated edge to help pilots of helicopters to cut their way out of wreckage in an emergency, but it will do quite nicely in most circumstances with a plain edge.
It can be had for about 145 dollars US.
Cheers
Leo

A sharpened prybar? Randall's Fireman Special is one. 4" blade, a quarter inch thick and takes a great edge. It even chops pretty good. Get the Border Patrol handle for a little more comfort in multiple grips, though the finger groove grips aren't that much of a handicap after you've worked with it a while.

Ontario Ranger Falcon
Ontario Ranger Afghan
Ontario Ranger RD4
Ontario Ranger NS4
Kabar/Becker BK2/Campanion
ESEE 5
Bark River Bravo 1
Fehrman Last Chance
Tops Black Rhino

There are many others that you can find, but these are the ones that are on the top of my head right now

Also, Pretty much ALL ranger knives by Ontario are .25" thick
