*** - Looking for a few good designs - *** And a contest!

You're kidding! I've been following the *&^%$%$@$#!*(*))_$##! since I saw the concept drawings on $#%.!*&@#.com. It's a big improvement from the *!&@#@$@$%&&!, which was also a favorite. Is it true that every model comes packaged in a ten-gallon hat?

We may not use the $%^&$@(%@# but the %%^*&@$*&* instead as it is much easier to pronounce :D

Keep those ideas coming! We got some winners already!

I hope PDF for Acrobat 4.0 and up was OK. It was a quick sketch, so I figured the PDF would be good enough for a start. Anxiously waiting to see who's gonna get it done...

Oh well guess i didnt make the cut, just wish more people posted here so we could see who was responding....lurkers!


So far i have sent a 17 (i secretly hope to submit the most) and all of them are great half of them are Excellent (at least according to me, granted i may have a biassed opinion, but at least i am being honest)

so i say, assumingly and arrogantly, when are you going to sent over the paper work for my knife deal (btw i have also changed the names of my first two knives (because i want to be like my hero Rob) to %^##^* and &^%*&&*(&^, the rest of the names are on the way)


now where can i get one of those hats...and Mike i still hope its the Raven
 
LizardKing, I'm sure your designs are great, but if you want to send in the most you better hope I don't get my scanner working. I've got 31 designs sitting on my desk right now waiting to be sent. I hope I can get this thing working.:D
 
About how many designs have been submitted?

Do you have any "holes" in your line up that need filling? What else do you need? (i suspect i have a better chance of getting a knife produced if it is what you are looking for)

I am ready to draw up some exact specifications for locks if you are interested.

important question! Will we receive an official "no" or is the lack of an Offical "yes" the only thing we have to go on?

Poboy-here are my suggestions.

1) Make sure everything is pugged in
2) try to auto detect your scanner.
3) go online-most manufacturers have web pages that allow you to download the right drivers.
4) unpack your driver and insall/setup
5) Restart your computer with the scanner on and plugged in.
6) look for some softwear that can use your scanner, i use Microsoft picture it publishing 2001, because it came with my computer.

But you might as well not even try cause i know that mike is taking his time because he wants to figure out how to let all the big names down easy because Dragon Forge is going to be all LizardKings :D :D

I got your drawings, VERY nice!

I have about 75 or so drawings right now. I need more folder designs and I could use hatchet/tomahawk designs and fantasy pieces.

I will have more specifics later.
 
Mike, did u get mine yet? they can be adapted to folders, just gotta figure out the lock (lockback, liner lock, etc) and pivot placement.

I'll work on some fantasy stuff. I gotta find the folder with my designs in it, i might have left it at home over my last break :(
 
I've got a few more that will be on their way soon. A couple on the same theme as previous ones, a few different. Thanks for the compliment. I would like to make these myself, but I'm too poor to buy the equipment. Maybe one day. Thanks for the opportunity to get my designs looked at.
 
LizardKing, it worked all along, I just needed to read the instructions. My wife (CIS major) showed me what I was doing wrong. I hope I'm better at designing knives than at working computer stuff.:D Next thing I'm gonna do is get a cad program. Anybody got a suggestion for a good, easy one? Did I mention it needs to be easy?
