i agree with you on the cheap looking scales on the grip but if you can get past that its one hell of a knife. the mini grip is a bit small for my hands but he full sized one fit my mitt like no other

I felt the recon was over built, too many things I had to modify. The g10 was too aggressive for me. The pocket clip was too tight, the black coating was terrible and I stripped it off, it took up too much pocket real estate, the only way to open it one handed was to really whip it open which intimidated people, and in the end those were too many flaws that I didn't want to deal with. I did like the ergos very much though. But that's about itGet yourself two Ganzo knives for your $50 and have enough for lunch left over !
