I love your work, but do you do backspacers without gears? I was just thinking about the grooves I get in my hand when I press hard on my mili handle (standoffs, no backspacer at all) during cuts. I was thinking a smooth back would be more comfortable. Maybe the K2 is just so sharp it sinks easily into the material being cut??

This steel is very tough even at low edge angles. I've hit metal and concrete a few times and it's hardly done more than make a little flat spot in the edge.
