Looks like the k2s are being liquidated.....

I EDC mine all the time, carried it today.

I believe you. Some guys - very few, though - will carry a 1911 or whatever too. But for most of us, these larger EDC toys will not be carried consistently after the fun wears off.

But you have me energized to pocket my K2 today, while we take my son back to college. I'm guessing that knives are banned on campus, but screw them. I don't plan on getting caught.

Jumped on KW pricing for one of these as well, had one in my cart several times in the past but never went for it. After owning 2 custom K2's these production models are very good representations of the real thing. All of the positives and negatives of the Spyderco version are the same on the custom models. That said the customs broke in nicely and the production version has started to do the same already. The worst hot spot is from the clip, would still like it better tip up right side carry.

These knives are designed for late lockup. Folks who like real early, stay away you wont get one with early lockup. They arent made that way. It isnt a luck of the draw.

The lock stick wears in over awhile of using. I started usimg my first for a couple weeks now and its not sticking anymore and i didnt do anything but use it. I still think its a great knife for the reduced price. At full price there were better options.

I also didn't like the size at first but not necause of the length only the width. Ive gotten used to it and its an easy carry for how large it is.

In that picture bearfaced put up. Wish they would make that smaller knife in the picture out of 10v or K390, I would buy a couple of those! A smaller version in 10v or K390 would be awesome!

I agree. I'm pained the sage only comes in 1 blade flavor.

Well, thanks to you guys one will be on its way to me as well, along with a free pair of scissors with the promo code :D eh, eh?

I went back and forth on this, but finally ordered one.

I like large knives for kitchen work; large blades can span fruit/vegetables much better then the typical 3.25" EDC blade. Our chef knives are in child safe drawers; so it really handy to be able to pull a big knife from my pocket and prep meals. No washing either; a quick wipe with paper towel and it is back in the pocket ready for the next day (unless it touches raw meat).

Any other Canadians purchase one from US retailers? any issues? mine's been stuck in customs for a few days now.

Tap, thanks for the compliment. If I haven't told you before, your photos are always great.

This knife is such a beast that I had some strange compulsion to hold two of them at the same time. Dual K2s!!!

Wow that's an epic picture!

Bearded duel wielding K2s!
