Lost my baby. Losing my mind!

This may not help but it happened to me today. I was sitting on the toilet (sorry TMI) and I heard my knife fall on the floor. Apparently I sat in my chair at work and I remember the clip hitting the arm of the chair. It must of pushed the knife out of my pocket enough that when I sat down it fell out. Could you have sat somewhere and the arm of the chair lifted it out of your pocket?
 
I feel for you, but keep positive. I once lost a 1980 vintage Gerber Paul knife. I found it a year later in my hunting boot!

Seat belts like to steal knives with clips. I have found mine in the car more than once.
