lousy dealers...

Jeez

Sounds like a fkup, we all make mistakes, the vendor offered to make it good, and is still getting flamed, by who, um, not the customer?

Get over it already. The record is set. Anyone who has done enough business has been on the receiving end of some payment/shipping/product nightmare. We hear it. We get it. Drop it.

nothing pisses me off more than paying more than $10 in shipping fees, and a week later having it show up via regular ground in a brown paper bag

I'm just picking one brief quote to represent the whole tone of this thread....

Quite a few things have happened to me that pissed me off quite a bit more than that. Maybe my life experiences have differed from yours. Or maybe I have a different set of priorities than you do. Or could it be you haven't really thought that out? Is there really nothing at all you can think of that would piss you off more than that?

Thank you Stone Knife for presenting your side. If I had gone through all that you have, I would not be happy either. Probably accepting Paul's offer of a full refund would be the way to go here. Because of the way this whole thing has played out, you are never going to be happy with the knife in question.

It is good that stuff like this appears here. It looks like it has been a learning experience for Paul and shows the rest of us that we should always be cautious in our business dealings.

Gonzo, we all know what has happened so it looks to me like it is time to let this go. There is no need to beat a dead horse.

If he sends it back he should also get shipping
charges. Just so he is out nothing.
Thanks for the heads up Gonzo.

Gonzo Beyondo... Living up to your username?

You must live a soft life to let your feathers get ruffled over this. And have a lot of time on your hands to whine about someone else's problem.

There's more to life. Discover it, and enjoy.
