Whee! Just snatched the last Farmer on Amazon/Chelsea Watch for $19 shipped. Silver, of course, but that's OK. ;)
 
i succumbed and my wife just brought it to me from the mailbox. neat knife, i like the feel and the size.came from chelsea watch on amazon as well.

i think i will sleep with it tonight. yeah !!!!

Its amazing how collecting SAKs can be so addicting. I love them so much. Now yall got me wanting a Hiker.

I use the scissors for a lot of things too. Probably the most common SAKs I carry are the Climber and the Farmer. The first has scissors. The second does not.

It was on clearance but the price was nowhere to be seen :mad: It was locked up with one of those plastic locks that don't allow you to remove items off the holder without assistance, so I couldn't scan it in myself. I knew i wasn't going to buy it then and there, so I didn't bother. Probably cheaper to get it elsewhere anyway...Amazon has em for less than the farmer.
 
I wish the Farmer had tweezers, scissors, and pliers and toothpick added but was still about the same size. Oh and a small blade also. I guess Im wishing to much.

You're welcome. I can't say enough good about the guy (scibeer) who does the mods. He is also a regular here, although he seems to hang out at SOSAK a little more. The price of the scissor mod is more than reasonable, and his work is first rate. Other mods can be more expensive. It depends on difficulty and availability of donor parts.

The only downside to it is that I am terrified that I'm going to lose this knife.
 
I just noticed on my Huntsman that the knife is tight as can be with a great snap on every blade and part except the awl. When I opened it, it had side to side wiggle. None of the other parts have that but the awl does. I dont guess it will hurt anything but I hate side to side wiggle. Its new, i just got it for Christmas. What do you think I should do about it. Not worry or get it fixed?
