just want to clarify something... I wasn't expecting to have this knife fixed for free... I was more than willing to pay whatever amount nessecary to have it fixed by the repair shop... also, the fella that bought it from me thought he knew what was wrong with it (eccentric pivot adjustment) has found out that is NOT the case... so this knife has made YET ANOTHER DISSATISFIED SPYDERCO CUSTOMER... I told him before he bought it that it was a POS, and now he believes me.. lol... to everybody that thinks "great" customer service is replacing pocket clips and screws for free... sooner or later you will have a "safety issue" with an out-of-production spyderco and you will see how "great" you are treated... I still think spyderco makes quality products (but I won't be buying any)... its just how I was treated by their "GREAT" customer serice, and by Sal in his (condescending) response above, that tarnished my view of him and his company... witness the downward spiral, Sal... your ship is sinking.
