Lurkers: I SEE you lurking! Say Hello Here!

When 555 asked about Heavy Posters I thought I should jump in since I am 300 lbs. I read this forum at least twice a day. Favorite subject. I was a scout master for 32 years. My specialty was winter wilderness survival. Slept in a lot of Igloo's, etc. Too old now but still spend a lot of time in the woods. I have a nice cabin deep in the forests near Mt. St. Helens. Survival knives and fire starting are my drug of choice.

I'm not exactly a lurker. Well, OK. I am.
This and Dan Koster's forum are my faves. I've gotten a lot of ideas from here. Thanks to all :)

When I first joined, I'd often delete all my cookies and hence I was a lurker. Since that time I figured out which cookies to delete and which ones not to, so I ususally show up as a member when I log in.

I enjoy this forum quite a bit and it is my favorite of all the individual forums in BladeForums. I come here first and go elsewhere if I have time.

Norwegians are welcome too? Hi, my name is Inge and I'm a lurker! 30 years old, I'm from northern Norway but currently live 1h. drive south of our capital Oslo. I'm a knife nut, practical shooter, and just got into martial arts (wing chun). Some say we norwegians are born with skis on our feet, but the climate these last few years makes using them impossible where I live. I do love the outdoors, and try to get out with the wife and kids as much as possible. This is my favorite forum on BF and I check it daily. Very much to learn from knowledgable people with a great sense of humor, and I really don't have much to add - that's why I only lurk around. I also find it interesting reading about american phenomenons like BOBs and such. I don't have to worry about that. The national guard issues me a BOB and a G3 rifle and expects me to show up if the SHTF :-)

Whats-up guys, Im Jake, I live in middle missouri, where I work rural EMS. I spent time in the Army as a 19d cav-scout. Married w/ 3 sons 4,7, and 10. Ive been into this stuff since I was about 10 years old. Ive been around here for a little while, dont post often, but Ive been working on that lately. You guys seem great, and are very helpfull, I try to help where I can. Its nice to meet people w/ similar passions, most of my buddies think Im crazy. I will soon be purchasing a membership here. I dont really need it but will do what it takes to support the site. Anyways, nice to be here!

I'm William and I'm a knifeaholic. I've tried to quit but this forum has only made it impossible. I'm 40something with a girlfriend that's too young and too pretty for me and a 15 year old son that's too smart for me. In addition to being addicted to knives I love fishing, hiking, hunting, camping, good beer, and Gentleman Jack. It's good to know I'm not alone in the world and that there are people out there who share my passions.

In Knifaholics Anonymous, we don't help you cure your addiction. Instead, we fan the flames! It's "enabling behavior," I know, but it's the good kind....:D

Welcome aboard!

Ok I'll add to the lurker listing since I read more than I post.
My name is Ronan, I'm 28. I'm a Professional Photographer & do some freelance Graphic Design too. I am also an Adjunct Instructor at a college in Philadelphia, PA USA. I currently live bouncing between Philly and Harrisburg, PA. I spend most all of my time here on BF in WSS as I am a knife/sword nut who loves getting off the grid and into the great outdoors; so what better place for me than here.

By the way Anvilbuck, what part of just outside of Chicago? I used to live in Lemont over by Joliet.
