I figured out a while ago that the right light is key, making good pictures. So I bought this "Mini Photostudio". Everything is included and the case acts as the base and back of the studio but also for storage and transportation. Sweet idea from the manufacturer, isnt't it ?

too small for my uses. I just made one from foam board and some fluorescent lights (which was the most expensive part. 5000K lights aren't cheap!), but I keep thinking there has to be a better way. I'm close to making another one with a wood frame and using some white plastic sheeting as a diffuser on the sices and top. getting a black background has been beyond my abilities.

Thanks Keyman. I have two M390's and an M4. I took my mostly black scaled M390 and put those beautiful Golden Dragon scales on it. I need to take some decent pics of that one.

You guys are doing great work with these exclusives... really looking forward to that blue G-10 Grip with M390! :thumbup:

just with regards to the scales, my feeling is that you could've gone with straight blue G-10, given how that's BM's corporate colour and all. After years of buying black G-10 knives I now do pretty much anything to avoid it!

The issue is we have 150 of these being delivered today and almost 150 pre orders that will be shipped out today. We simply cannot inspect each knife and match them to a specific customers request. That's the reason we listed the note:
"Due to the layering of the 2 colors G10 and when machined, Each knife may be slightly different in color on the handle, One may have a little more blue or a little more black in the handle. We will not be able to go through and pick these out for preferred handles."
We placed an order for another 200 this week, but we will not know how they look until they arrive. Like todays order. Hope this helps! KW

This may have been mentioned before, but have y'all noticed how much higher the Butterfly sets up on the blade of the blue 810-1401? I noticed the difference in Ankersons video.

I had both. One ending with a black layer and one ending with a blue layer. As I wanted to sell one to a friend I needed to make a choice. I found for my personal taste, that the one ending with a black layer looks more ..... distingueshed ...... Don't know how to explain. Whatever it is just personal preference. I kept the black one.
