M4 940

I'm thinking about picking one up it would be my first 940 so why not make the first one a cool exclusive. Not the biggest fan of the jade g10 but the fact that you can see the axis lock operating through it is pretty cool.

I don't understand why BM feels the need to coat all their M4 blades. Yes, I know it's a BHQ exclusive, but, the Super Phreak. That would have looked so much better without the coating. I know I'm not the only one, guess we don't number enough.

I'm in total agreement. I know it's been discussed before, but other manufacturer's do this and I own several of these knives and haven't had issues with rust. I used to have a pretty big collection of Benchmades but have stopped buying them altogether because I prefer uncoated carbon steel blades and they don't offer them. It's a shame that it isn't even an option when creating a knife in the custom shop.

Hum... not sure to understand why I cannot buy it from outside the US.
Regular model cannot be sent overseas, I know that, but I thought it was possible for exclusives... and I already bought BHQ exclusives from outside the US.
Too bad.

Apparently, 10,000 were made, it isnt going to sell out quickly...

Must be a recent change.I also tried to purchase a knife during the Black Friday sale only to find they don't ship folding knives International.I have purchased other items like accessories without problem.

Not glad to have missed out on all the free swag like the bugout mat that come with any BM purchase.

Shipping seems to suck. Still in VA. Did anyone else get theres yet.
Mine arrived and it's very nice. blade is centered and the black hardware just barely showing thru the jade g10.

here is a pic next to my jade g10 spydie

I think they're a bit overwhelmed this year. Having said that, I'm watching one of my packages ping pong back and forth between distribution centers in two states. It sits in one center for a couple of days then gets shipped to the other center, which holds it for two or threes days and sends it back. It's stuck in some kind of loop. I'm not in a real hurry for the package, but you have to wonder what's going on.
