I am so glad I'm lefty now, or I'd be regretting missing out on preorder.

M4 is an excellent steel and the Military an excellent platform for it.

OK.... Sal or someone... we need some sort of update, even if it's just to say it will be end of july or later!!!

Au contraire, you could whine and moan as much as you wanted, but it wouldn't get you a knife! ;) :D It's like dinner. It'll be ready when it is. :cool:
 
I have no qualms with it taking as long as it needs to - my impatience is merely getting the best of me, and with knifeworks still showing mid-july, well... I guess it is compounding the impatience... atleast if someone said "probably gonna be another month or 2" - i could stop wishing it'd show up tomorrow :)

"Unexpectedly delayed" with no "completion date at this time", umm, that does not sound very promising. I wonder what kind of difficulties they encountered, this is after all a variation of an existing model, no rocket science there...
I just wish Spyderco would release their own sprint run with CF scales and M4 blade, I was never enthusiastic about the G-10/Ti combination in the first place. And I hate pre-orders where the rules change along the way (no limit, no deposit, then 1 per person with a deposit) and deadlines are not kept.
Sorry about the rant.
 
Sounds like the hold-up is suppliers outside of Spyderco.

So it's neither Roger or Sal's control to fix it.

All I want is to hold it in my hand, as a thing of beauty, whenever it arrives.
