so, as we know, the official release date for the Machax is 2012-02-01, that's February 1st, which is the next Wednesday.

that doesn't necessarily mean you can BUY one then, but we have hope.

as we saw in the other thread as posted by Dresnor : http://www.tomarskabars.com/New_2012_P1.html we have an MSRP $135.67, and Tomar's pricing of $81.40

Yes, actually. i am freaking out. I didn't have any interest in the Machax till I saw the SHOT Show video lately. I have been looking for a camp hatchet or chopper, and then the Machax popped up with such a close "release" date. It's definately my next purchase. More porn, imo. Beautiful blade.

I've been watching that other one for a couple weeks now, since my phosphate warrior got away. The one thats still available is new with box and paperwork and it'd probably just get looked at a couple times and put in the safe. Then this one I bought shows up, used good condition and $100 less. I almost broke fingers rushing to snap it up.

$250 is still a little steep since i have so many of that type, i figured it would either goto a good home without challenge from me, or wuld get relisted lower ;) $150 or less. considering that many of my items were $100 or less, and some stupid low $25 i think is the in store record "i'll take them both" :) i really am about bargains...

though, now and then, something will show up that is "must have"... rare but watch out :)
