Madison Barlow Give Away. ***Winner***

I've said it before elsewhere...I'd love to see a Coffin Jack or Coke Bottle. Maybe in mammoth ivory?!?! Thanks for the opportunity!

My grail would be a two blade barehead 3 5/8" cokebottle jack with ebony or cocobolo scales, like this one

And don't forget to put the pen in front of the master.

Thank you Knives ship free, I'm in
I'd love to see a Northwoods Madison Barlow in Redwood Burl, that would be my grail.
Here is my Northwoods Hawthorne, Clip point in White Bone along with GEC #79 in Ivory :)

Awesome giveaway, Derrick, thanks for a chance. I would like to see something from Queen in a higher end stainless steel. Their sowbelly pattern with a caplifter/driver replacing the spey would be great, with jigged bone covers.

A single spring Half Congress could also be very nice with a sheepsfoot main and pen secondary with the rustic look of your Forest and Burnside Jack blades.

Again, thanks for the chance.

Derrick, best wishes on your new design. Since I got a Fremont Jack I've thought I'd like it with the sheepfoot blade mount on the opposite end and with an easy open notch. Is that an 85 eo without a pointed end? Thanks for the chance to win such a beautiful knife.

All right, I'll play, even if I sound like a broken record.

I would like to see a 'cub scout' style, three blade camp / utility knife.
Start with a GEC #68 frame (or any equal end about 3.5 inches long). Give it a spear or clip main blade.
Drop in a crown lifter behind the main and add a punch / awl opposite. Bail is optional, no need for a can opener.

Fast and dirty photoshop:

If you could do a nice sodbuster in wood or bone and stay under $100 I'd finally be able to swing my first Northwoods knife. It's gotta have the Northwoods arrow though.

Great idea for a giveaway, Derrick. Thank you. I'd like to see another run of #54 spear-point Forest Jacks, in something more affordable like Micarta, acrylic, or wood. Those Forest Jacks were beautiful knives.

I like onespdfrk's idea but want to add on that smooth bone or wood is important for the whittler, and that instead of the clip on the left there should be a pen, and decent sized sheepfoot, and that perfect blade on the right!

(I know it's probably cheatin' to use your photo onespdfrk, but I'm brainstorming here, so forgive me in advance, 'cause I really like what you did and am trying to illustrate what I mean. You ALMOST got it right! :D) Even if we don't win, maybe we can have some input on a whittler...

Yes, yes and yes!

I like your idea on the secondaries. Maybe I need to "refine the design" tomorrow!

I'm still in a steep leaning curve from you guys so suggestions are hard to come by. I just know It'll be a winner.
Even though I'm nearly clueless, but since I'm interested in whittlers, I'll say... whip up the best whittler that's ever been made. That's what I want to see.

Great GAW Derrick!

I'd love to see a daddy/ grandaddy barlow that is regular production (not SFO); ideally something like antiqued horse cut bone and a single spear point blade with a match-strike long pull (and a swedge on top) would be amazing. And while a slip joint with a stout pull would be just fine, I would not mind a liner-lock (GEC style). I'm thinking about the same sized (closed) as a GEC 42 or 23, or somewhere in between...

Good luck to all who enter!

I'd like to see a version of the 62 half congress with tip bolsters and the camel bone that always looks so good on the Northwoods. I've been looking around for the easy pocket congress version of the 62, and they seem to be few and far between. Seems like a winning pattern that's due for a rerun.
