MagnaCut Mule Team crash

Mine made it to MO...on its way to AZ!!!...after being told it would arrive last Friday. 🤦‍♂️:(

has anyone mentioned that this thread is merely amusing without pics?

This thread is about the struggles of some of us to get our orders for the MagnaCut accepted, filled and then finally received.

It's NOT about sharpening the knives or what the knife looks like because all of the Mules look exactly same, except for the etching of the the type of steel used in making the blade.

So, if you want to see what a Magnacut blank looks like, I suggest you look elsewhere. EB would a good start because there are a least a dozen available for sale with LOTS of pics of them there.

PS: For the people like me who had to wait 2 weeks to receive their MagnaCuts and for those who still may not have received theirs, the situation has been very frustrating and FAR from "amusing."

Finally...FINALLY, the USPS found where Tucson is. It took them a week longer than than I expected, but I guess I should be happy that the Mules at least arrived safely.

Halpern Titanium. I've had them awhile and not sure what they have in stock but check out their website. It looks like they still make them.

Thanks, that’s kind of who I thought you got them from. I have one set of theirs and they look the same but I’ve never seen any in blaze orange before.

Halpern still has a limited supply of Mule scales on hand. Not sure if they're still making them any more.

Just purchased another pair from them recently. On my phone rt now but will post the info I got from Jennifer Jenkins who handles their sales when I get back on my computer & you can ask her what they still have left.

Update:

Here are the photos of the Option 4 (contoured) and Option 5 (flat) scales that Jenn sent me back in September 2021:

PS: The black scales sold by Spyderco (and made by Halpern) are contoured (Option 4) and the only one's that I've purchased from Halpern are contoured as well. They all fit Spyderco's Bolatron Mule sheath but I do not know if the flat (Option 5) scales will properly fit the Spyderco Bolatron sheath or not.

Yes, I got these some time ago when they did offer orange. I don't know why they don't offer orange any more. Either they were super popular and HT ran out or it was not popular and they decided to discontinue offering them. In my experience though, Marianne does not generally discontinue something that proves to be popular, unless they simply aren't making Mule scales any more.
