That used to be true, but not anymore. They can do that, but they don't really like to. I've had all my SFO purchases sent to my work address for years.

I've used a PO Box address for over 40 years. The USPS changed it's rules over 10 years ago to allow packages to be delivered by ANY carrier to any boxholder at a US Post Office.

I've been receiving packages from UPS, FedEx and other carriers, including AMZN/EB sellers, that require a street address for delivery, in this way for as long as it's been allowed. The only difference is that the sender has to use the PO's street address and then designate the Box # at the end of the street address.

The PO doesn't care if you call it a "Box #" or not. I usually specify "Unit # but the sender could just use "#" as long as there is an "actual number" attached to it. However, I've had the box so long and have received so many pkgs at my PO that, if it didn't have a # on the label, I'd still probably receive it.

It's not "Cheers" but they know my name. LOL!

Anyone sharpened their MagnaCut Mule? I'd be interested in hearing about what they feel.
 
Mine have not yet arrived, but someone posted on the Mule Team subforum on the factory forum about sharpening theirs.

I still haven't even received a shipping notice yet. :(

Going to give it til the end of business today and if a shipping confirm doesn't show up by then, I'll call them (again) about it tomorrow.

BTW, I just purchased an M390 Mule and an Ironwood Puukko off of EB yesterday. The way it looks, I should receive them before the MagnaCuts. The M390 is replacing a 20CV Mule and the Ironwood Puukko will replace the G10 Puukko in my collection. Both will be offered for sale later.

So while sharpening my MagnaCut Mule for roughly 17 dps with a lansky diamond sharpener, I noticed one portion of the edge was not even and became kind of loose. I was actually able to take one piece off from that area with my finger nail (the piece inside the red circle in the first picture below). I was able to eventually sharpen the most of that area out (second picture, where I put on a ~20 dps micro-bevel). I hope it is just because the factory edge is burnt and after a few sharpening sessions the edge will become stable.

Neither have I, but it wouldn't be the first time I received a purchase before I got a shipping notice.

FINALLY received a shipping notice and tracking #. Hope everyone who hasn't received them yet does so soon, as well.

Now I can stop being annoyed by the sharpening posts in this thread for a knife that I haven't even received yet. LOL! ;)

No, I fell at work and broke my wrist in September. The doctor hasn't released me to go back to work, so my left hand is still in a splint that keeps me from using that thumb. Never knew just how much I used that thing until I had to go without it for three months. Fingers crossed that he releases me on the 22nd.
 
^^__ Feel for you!!! I broke my wrist and hand in 8 places a few years ago. It was my right hand and really is a PITA for it to heal. Best of luck on 22nd release!!
 
FINALLY . . . received the 2 MagnaCuts that I ordered today. So, the saga is over! LOL! ;)

One of them is going to replace the ZMax in my small collection of Mules and, since Spyderco is emphasizing the corrosive resistant properties of MagnaCut (over it's other features), I'm going to pair the MagnaCut w/my LC200N Mule.

Also recently purchased an M390 Mule which replaces a 20CV (which I understand are essentially the same but I prefer to showcase M390 steel) in my collection that I'll pair w/a S45VN Mule for the time being.

Hope the rest of you who haven't received your MagnaCut Mules yet will receive yours soon as well.
