MagnaMax steel is now available

I could not get my account to open up. I received a link from NSM that said something like thank you for opening your account, please reset password. OK, so I get the link to reset password in my email inbox. I click that link, and it takes me to a page where you enter a new password (twice). It then says, "either your email or your password is invalid". So I go through the process again, and I just get stuck in this loop. Not to mention the "prove you're not a bot" where the pictures are so grainy you can't even hardly tell if there is a car in the photo or not.

I'm just going to have to call them. I gotta say, this sucks. I have to open an account just to buy a bar of steel? And then I have to get the account approved? And then it won't even let me into my account?

I struggled too ... I think after they had me try to log in again, I skipped it I don't think I changed my password like they asked...... I was just able to order from my direct email confirmation link.

I will say Bob has been Extremely responsive via email. I slightly changed my order after the order. He made it right, Awesome. I was very impressed. Happy to get what I wanted.
Thanks.

I opened an account with them a while ago and had similar problems. I think it eventually boiled down to me setting it up on a phone and not realizing I had multiple windows open trying to do the same thing at the same time but since it was a new window it didn’t recognize me. I had to close them all down and work on the original.

I got off the phone with NSM earlier today. Guy told me that half the phone calls he has received lately have been about this very issue. I was transferred to someone (Jeff?), had to leave a voicemail, hopefully they can get back with me soon.

Amazon, we are not. We appreciate everybody's patience and support. Our website is linking up with ERP system so it has to be manually verified so we don't have duplicate accounts. We are keeping an eye on incoming registrations and verifying them as soon as possible. Normally just takes a few minutes.

I called and found out my package was shipped yesterday, and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow; they just didn't get to update the online portion yet and it was still showing awaiting fulfillment. They were swamped with phone calls and online orders, so they are catching up and hoping to have everything shipped by Friday if not earlier!

I made a new account when I got the email a while back since my old account went away when they redid their website.

Magnamax came out after Crucible was bought, so it doesn't need the CPM moniker since it's not a "CPM" steel. NSM Wear is what used to be called CPM CruWear, now being made by EraSteel and rolled by Niagra. They mentioned some of the names of steel may change due to Erasteel buying Crucible if they couldn't buy the patented/trademarked/copyrighted/whatever protection it had at the time.

Taz explained why MagnaMax doesn't have the "CPM" name in front of it.

Well, I was curious what the sign up process was like, so I gave it a try.

I'm sure demand was through the roof on Friday so this won't be an accurate representation of any difficulties folks were experiencing during the extreme demand at launch.

I figured I would see how many steps are involved and lay it all out for people that are curious or intimidated by the process.

Step 1: Click the sign up button.

Step 2: Fill out information.

Step 3: Wait for Email.

Step 4: Receive email acknowledging you signed up.

Step 5: Receive conformation email. (9 min wait for me during business hours and after launch day, ymmv.)

Step 6: Enter email to reset password.

Step 7:If one has ordered from NSM in the past, the system will acknowledge your account still exists, another email is sent immediately with link to set password. (Check junk folder if you don't see it.)Screenshot_20260506-134640.png

Step 8: Create New Password.

Step 9: Sign in

COMPLETE: After sign in, the website will take you to your orders page and you can see all your past orders even prior to the new system.

We are getting the right to use CPM Cruwear soon. Website will be updated soon if it hasn't already.
