I don't see it listed yet at either KA-BAR or Tomar's. We know it's coming, but it doesn't look like it's out quite yet.

i see it listed at "the center of knives" for <price>... the enlarged picture has the KaBar stamp on it. VERY curious. "in stock"

went back as far as june in their blog, but no information there as to when they got/added it. must have been VERY recently.

as far as Friday, nothing yet, Holiday i'm sure for them. my paw paws finally showed up though, VERY ripe (3 days longer shipping for some reason, will call them about that). tasty critters though.

Surprised me as well. I didn't recall hearing anything about it being released, and then *bang*, there it was! Today was the first I saw it in their 'new products'.

I've wanted one of the Magnums for many years. Unfortunately, I never had the money when they've been available. Guess what. I don't have it to spare at the moment, either:grumpy:!!!! So people, start buying them so KaBar keeps making them for a bit!:thumbup:
 
wow.. was hoping it'd be priced a little lower.. but that's not too bad. Definitely on my christmas list.

also note the differences with the now classic older models of magnum camp!

o not as long
o wide "leafier" blade
o slightly different edge sweep
o combined effect of the above is a little more stout (or stumpy ;>) looking
o probably same thickness as before (need to confirm), perhaps thinner
o there is a pommel/striker area now
o all new black sheath

can't speak to grinds as yet, we'll see later i suppose.

Looks nothing like the Camilus version,let's hope it's some sort of mistake.I had been hoping it would be released,but I don't like the looks of this one at all.

The edge sweeps up from the base so there's no flat section. I don't like it either.

i would be very surprised if they didn't.

'cepting those neckers, all the full sized knives are standardized.
