My pop just picked one of these up. I only used it for a short while, but I liked it......Really liked it. This weekend I'll give it a good workout and I'm sure I'll like it even more.

I ordered mine a few days ago and am waiting impatiently. I got this one to use as a slicer, and food prep knife. Beckers are stout and will take more abuse thaN any knife should, but they are not sharpened prybars. Each has a great amount of finess to the designs. I convexed the edge of my BK9 and it's my favorite 9" chef's knife. I still use my Henckels pro, but love my Beckers.

BK-5 just arrived, and it is very pleasing. The geometry is that of a slicer. No heavy battoning with this one. It's going into the kitchen drawer. Pics coming later on. Very nice Job, Ethan, Tooj, and of course, Jerry.
