Magpul is getting into the knife game with their new, limited Rigger

Not a fan, and $500??? That's just crazy money when you think about all the other companies that are proven and been around for many years...
You could get a CRK or hinderer and still have money to play with!

It's good as they need the money to fight/replace revenues from all of the fake Magpul speedloaders that get sold on the internet! I bought one by accident, realized it was a fake and tried to go to war with the seller, but ebay in essence protected the seller. It's a shame.

I’m more picturing a new, unfired $3000 AR that will stay that way until it gets sold(still unfired) in 2-3 years.
No doubt it will be big in the tacti-cool community just because of who makes it.

It's a shame about the cost though. Seems like a nice knife on paper and really doesn't look that bad but if I'm gonna pay that much for a knife it's gonna have to be a long proven design from someone who knows what they're doing with knives.

Weird the shit they're branching out to these days.

Guns and knives go together like almost nothing else but at that price I'll pass. ZTs are available for half the price.

I have to question if Magpul themselves are the Mfg.er or is Magpul just putting their name on a knife Mfg.er by some other Mfg.er of knives.

I like magpul, but this knife basically looks like a $230 ZT clone that's being pimped for exclusivity. I would imagine that someone like me is the target audience--I'll spend $500 for a knife, I like exclusivity, I like magpul, and I like the look of the knife (sorta. The grinds kind of make the functionality a little iffy imo).

But...$500 for this? That's the price of a CRK or Gold Class Benchmade or Olamic. It's magpul's first knife, sure, but it probably won't even have any collector value because it's so meh. They should have found a crazy new designer like Isham.

Hard pass.

Wth .. I think that they think, that they can over charge...because gun market.

BumblingBear BumblingBear I think it looks more like a qrtr than a zt and with it being labeled at USA Made both are candidates as I can't really see this being made by anyone but those to and being made or labeled as USA Made. We know which one is more likely to be actually USA Made and we know which company's products that is most similar to.

Just got the promo email for this. Meh.

So who's making it for Magpul?

I'm a big Magpul fan, (since Magpul) but this.. not so much.

So who's making it for them?
