  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Mailman brought me a haul of new Condors - a few minor QC issues.

Ejes...Condor is concerned and will be replacing your defective products pronto. I'll be sending you a PM with contact info. Needles to say, Condor stands behind their product.

-Joe

Joe, did you get anywhere with eliminating the ricasso on the Nessmuks? You were going to see if they could make them with the edge going all the way back.

Yes, it has been brought up. The ones you will see initially are probably from the old run.

Joe

Wow. Joe put me in touch with Rick Jones of Condor and within 2 minutes of emailing him my contact info, he calls me on my cell. Hell of a guy, too. He is sending me new knives and he was extremely gracious and concerned. He assured me this would be taken care of. I absolutely believe him; I think I may have caused an international "incident" in El Salvador. Hell of a company! It would be nice if other businesses were as concerned about their product as this one is.

Wow, that is very cool of Condor. That is how a company should back their products right there

Wow! Good to see they really care and, those sheaths look like they are worth to order cost alone!

Pity they won't be here in Oz :(

Wow. That kind of customer service just tipped me over the edge for a Condor Nessmuk.

It's great to see a company stand behind their product like that.

All the best,

- Mike

It's great to see this taken care of so promptly! But then again, it's what I've come to expect from both Joe and Condor...great folks all of 'em

Got any more pics of the Woodcraft and Woodlore knives? I'd love to see the handle dimensions.

Whats the thickness of the respective knives? Very interested in gettin the Golok and bushlore.

I've been eyeing up their Nessmuk too. How thick is the blade?

The Golok has a distal taper that goes from 1/4" thick at the grip to 1/8" to the curved grind at the front.

I think the Rodan appears to be 3/16" thick. The other knives appear to be 1/8" thick.

John, I'd love to post more pics, but I don't have the time right now, sorry. Try these threads: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=634370&highlight=rodan

Thanks, ejes, I'm really interested in both of those knives. I looked them up at various places and the prices are really, really good, especially since they include what looks like a nice sheath.

Yeah, it would be pretty hard to be disappointed in these for the price. I don't say this lightly, but I think they give Mora a run for their money in the "most bang for your buck" category.

Yep, I think you're right on. I'm pretty sure that the next knife I buy will be a Condor. At these prices, with their customer service, how can you go wrong?

Being full tang, I have to say I prefer them to Mora.

Yeah, based on what I'm seeing so far, I have to agree with you. I really, really, want to see some reviews on the Rodan and the Bushlore. I'm very poor, but even I can come up with the money for one of these. I'm simply amazed at the prices I've seen on the web. These things out Mora Mora's.

Looking at the pictures, my first impression is not good. I think I'll stick with my Moras for now.

Nothing wrong with Moras. Absolutely nothing wrong with the new Condors, either. Is this a great country, or what? You can use what you like.

I'm going to try the Condors.
