A couple weeks ago I received a Golok, Bolo, Kukri, Rodan and Bushcraft knife. Overall I am very pleased with them as a group.
I put the Golok, Kukri and Bolo to work cleaning the ditch bank next to my parent's house. We haven't touched the back part of it probably in 9-10 months at least (basically since doing some tree cleanup after Ike / Gustav) and it was overgrown with a mix of everything, from tall grass to big woody weeds almost 2 inches thick and Oak and Pecan saplings. All three came out of the box with a very polished edge that would shave but not pop hair off my arm. The Golok and Kukri were the stars of the show. The Golok is a beast and went through the big weeds and ~1.5 inch cane like there was no tomorrow, and did pretty well on the lighters stuff also. The Kukri was a much better performer than the Cold Steel Kukri machete that I have been using, so much so that I gave the CS away to a friend of mine later that weekend.
The Bolo chopped well on the heavier plants, but I kept thinking it would have been a stronger performer overall if it was a little longer. I am used to a 22 inch Ontario and I guess I was subconsciously comparing the two maybe.
The Rodan seems nice and stout, came out of the box very sharp and looks like a winner all around.
The Bushcraft was the only one that had any issues. The mark on the blade was double struck overlapping, which is no problem but did make me wonder about my new glasses for a minute!

The blade also had a pronounced wire edge and just went nearly butter knife dull when I put it on a DMT steel to try to realign it. It is a handy and comfortable knife, and should be fine once I resharpen it.
The Golok, Kurki and Rodan will definitely get a lot of use by me.
