Two new ones as of April '09.
The "K.B. Andersen" will be retired. Maybe used only on special occasions.
The two new "Andersen"s - one fine line and one bold - will be the new Maker's Marks from Andersen Forge.

Here is my new one. Till now it has been total free hand. I really like my new stencils. Have not put it on a blade yet these were tests only. First blade with new mark May 16th.

Hi Bologna Xpress. I have your logo but without a name it doesn't do much good.:D Who and where are you?

this is my stamp a knife with my initials on either side (JB: Jason Burgin)
I have used this since 1993

I need a good photo of my beeswax etching style, but here's my chisel mark:

It's a "brand" style rendition of my initials in a norse script. CH

This is my carved mark on a good day. It's just my initials, but I'm considering changing my mark to what is shown on my avatar. I'm currently, and only temporarily in Virginia, but I'm from Montana, up in the Flathead.

Is there going to be a national registry of knife "makers mark"? Maybe that's been mentioned already and I havn't seen that post yet. ABANA, (American Blacksmith Association of North America) has a National Registry of "touch marks" on record for any one interested in being identified by collectors and curators. A "national archive" can be benificial to collectors, dealers and makers in regards to tracing an origin or maker of a knife. Not regional, but ntational. Is there anything like this that already exist?
