I'm definitely going to look for the Phillip Caputo book the next time that I'm at the library. Sounds great.

If anyone is interested in learning more about prehistoric cats, I highly recommend "The Big Cats and Their Fossil Relatives" by Turner, Howell, and Anton. Very interesting and detailed information, with the best full-color painted illustrations that I have ever seen in this type of book.
