Manix 2 gray handle 52100 live

I bet it has the skeletonized liners just like all the other recent Manix runs....

I would imagine so, but it specifically mentions full liners. That's what had me questioning it. If I recall they always mentioned skeletonized liners when they had em'.

It lists that it has a backspacer as well, which I don't remember any other Manix sporting. That's interesting.

Put a drop of Tuf Glide or oil in your pivot once a week and it will keep that area free and clear of corrosion. I've been using my M4 Millie for close to a year now and everything is patina'd on it, except for the pivot area, which stays lubricated with oil.

Probably works but M4 is much more corrosion resistant than 52100.

Yes, it is. So you're saying that there is no way to protect the pivot area at all for 52100?

I think regular maintenance (washing, drying and oiling) should help, as many of old carbon steel slipjoint lasts quite well with same treatment.
Just saying it requires more than M4, if uncoated, as seen in Nemo’s reviews.

I'm a little confused, "hook, line and sinker" or "took the bait" ???

I'm truly curious as I respect your posts on this forum.
Referring to hook line and sinker .
Like maybe to bait you in ...
Just a guess

Ugh, I'm really on the fence with this one, especially since the OD Green PM2 and Jade Green DLC Manix have drained my knife fund these past couple of weeks. Would love to see some hands on experience and pics although they will probably push me over the edge.

I bought one, don't need another Manix but I love the gray handles with black blade. Now trying to ignore the OD green PM2
