KJ Mystic green scales and a DLC s90V blade

I have 2 Manix's (Reg & XL) in G10 and have no interest in buying any others.
The only "advantage" of choosing an FRN scaled version IMO is the better tactile retention under different dry/wet conditions. Any weight savings would be neglible. Blade choices are another matter.
I have no need for anything other than VG10 or S30V but other opinions differ and your choice of scale blade material may be determined by your preference for FRN vs G10 scales.
Absolutely stunning!I'd say the Manix is probably my favorite Spyderco. My first was a G-10, I have the CF Cru-Wear, and a handful of LW models. You can't really go wrong going with personal preference, but at the moment, my favorite is the LW (it's FRCP not FRN though right?). There was a time when I had an illogical aversion to plastic knives, but I have since gotten over that, and know I find to perhaps be the ideal material for a utilitarian cutting tool like many Spyderco's are. My overall favorite Manix is the Mystic Green. While I'm at it, I've mentioned this before, but I'm not sure if there's any color LW Manix I could resist in translucent (Please give us something in translucent orange!!!)
Cool, but...
