March botm guesses?

If they did a 102 with interesting handle material and 420HC I'd buy two. Toss in an upgrade to a well balanced steel and I'd buy the limit.

That would be interesting - just curious, what do you have in mind ? Buck could easily do a pad print Ukrainian flag on their knife of choice. Maybe too political for Buck (and this forum) ?

A fixed blade 501 bird and trout knife. Black micarta. Don't laugh, it's my dream. Fishing season is coming up and I use a 501.
 
Well as for the resent offerings and QC issues I’m guessing something with terrible grinds and swedges. Miss marked and wrong coa, maybe a complete skip in one of the major steps of the design like jb’s tan gck.

Somehow it seems like it will also be over priced. This is all a guess but I’m probably not far off. 😞
 
This is not so much of a guess, as it is a wish - not holding my breath. The lowly 503 Prince has yet to be elevated to the status of BOTM. How about Buck making the first ever 503 with premium steel...say S35VN. Then dress it up with some scales that are not available from the custom knife shop. Scalloped cocobolo scales (featured on the 110 and 112 Bucks of the Month) would look awesome!



Keep the price low enough and I would be tempted to buy my first ever BOTM!
 
I'm going to keep wishing for more of the 100 series knives with the Betty Ross Flag lucite handles. Any model would be fine with me. Either that, or one of the Harley Davidson Bowies without the Harley Davidson markings and images.
