The description calls it a 117 Brahma and it does not have a Brahma pommel. I should have said a 102, 103, 105, style Micarta handle & Aluminum gurad & pommel.

Looks like they're going faster than last month's BOTM... less than an hour into it and 377 are left.

Although, now that I think of it, if you are trying to complete a collection, I guess it's an easy buy. Lucky for me I'm not! haha

Lol... that's what I'm grappling with in trying to decide... price versus adding it to my other Pro knives, which I have all but the 103. If I pull the trigger on this, it will be another month of rice & beans, having spent $$$$'s on last month's GCK BOTM....

Yeah... I know... "resistance is futile"...

Bloody hell... I'm in. I can't afford to gas up the car and go anywhere ( out here in California, gas is already heading towards $6.00 a gallon in some areas), so I may as well have another new knife to fondle since I'll be spending more time at I'm home. 😐

Ooowah! That’s a nice 117 and a big price tag to go with it. Dang that’s twice the price of the 105 pro I got a few months ago. I’d like to get one but my budget is getting tight so I’m going to pass. I really don’t need one even though it’s one of my favorite. I guess I can’t always have what I want.

Gas hit $7.17 per gallon up here and I've been stuck on the couch for the last 18 hours with a horrible case of Norovirus. The 117 is one my of favorite Buck fixed blades so this gave me a reason to perk up. I wouldn't wish this stomach bug affliction on my worst enemy.

fuel is 3.99 down here yesterday...didnt look today, sure its higher.

sure wish we had all that Canadian oil coming down that pipeline they shut down........ also wish we'd use our own resources. for example we have oil off the Florida coast and lots of it....... but no one will allow the drilling........meanwhile the Chinese are horizontally drilling and getting it off Cuba....go figure........

hope ya feel better soon, Jeff.....

glad this 117 has the normal sized handle.......

also 270 of them left......
