I was going by what Buck said on their web page... if you have your BOTM 117 already I guess you would know.

My bad..was thinking the bcci 117...I did order a botm 117 but haven't gotten it yet..

Mine arrived today... very pleased with the workmanship. Will skip posting a pic as the BOTM has been well represented by the ones already posted.

I guess I'll put my credit card on life support now (I might need to break out the de-fib paddles too) and order the 103 Pro to complete my Pro 100 series herd... now that I've seen just how great Tecate's Pro herd looks.

Nice try caquino but I’m committed no more Buck knives unless they have smooth bone handles to add to my Bass Pro set.

I got mine today. I would say that while fit and finish was pretty good on the BCCI Annual knife, the fit and finish on this one (March BOTM) is better. Of course, I can only speak to the one example of each that I personally received.

The sheath on my 117 BOTM is stamped "Proudly Made in the USA".

A real USA made 117 sheath is pretty cool in and of itself. None of my 117’s came with a correct sheath. I did however pick up some of the brown distressed leather ones to use.

I hope some of you guys put these BOM 117’s to work.

I like that stand... even has an open spot left at the bottom for if and when a 124 becomes available, where'd you get it?? .

I gave in to temptation. I got the email offer for a free coffee mug and ordered a BOM 117!

I figured I’d regret not getting it. Plus I know it will be easy to sell later if I decide too.

I'm just recently learning of all the Buck knives I've missed out on over the years. I never knew they made so much stuff. I didn't even know there was a Buck of the month until a few weeks ago. After looking back at all the previous BOTM, this one is by far my favorite, maybe even my favorite Buck. Trying to tell myself I don't need one, horrible timing for me.

Ten days! I made it 10 days! I couldn't hold out any longer. When I got off work today, as Y Your Name Goes Here said, there were only 5 left. Then there were 4 left.... Now there are 3 left.

Ironically, I did myself in by posting in the "Fixed Blade Fridays Page" my only 117 [https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/buck-fixed-blade-fridays.1818663/post-21122062]. The choice of posting this picture was based solely on how my imgur pictures were uploaded. Destiny? (I don't think my wife will buy that one.)

It didn't help seeing all of the beautiful pictures of these as they were received!
