The wood burl on that is really warm, a fine proportional shield as well - looks excellent on a Barehead pattern, semi-sunk joint:eek: Leaps & bounds:D:thumbup:

Amazing knives!
Now I have a second reason to visit Andover, the other being that Norton factory.

Swing low, sweet Barlow...

Thanks Acadian, it would be nice to meet you!
Joipapa, there is a Norton spare parts company in Andover, but the factory is at Donnington, but you are welcome to visit any time!
Do you have any details on the Paris show? I would love to go next year!

All the best

Paul

Hello Paul,

Nice to see your work being appreciated in the Home of the custom slipjoint. You can now stand proud with those superb makers on the "other side of the pond" and I reckon it is only a matter of time before you are Showing (and selling out !) over there. You future is going to be pretty exciting but praise should also go to your lovely wife Jan who is, as it turns out, not only a very talented leather worker but also, I suspect, the "wind beneath your wings".

Best wishes,
Colin (aka Sigman)

I had the opportunity to see these in person. They are extremely well made with great action. Get one or more while you can!

Cheers Colin!! Thanks for believing in what i was doing a couple of years ago when i showed you my first attempts! Yes you are right Jan is the "wind beneath my wings" she has supported me and encouraged me 100 per cent!
Thanks Alan, for your never ending support and enthusiasm, top man!
Cutromano, thank you, your very kind!
Shing, that was a really nice thing to say, thank you for taking the time to look at my work at the UK knives show, its always a pleasure to meet you!

Paul
