Maybe we will see Super Gold in other Seki knives?

That would make a nice choice for a dedicated color/steel Seki spring across the FRN models ala HAP40...which is still showing up in various models including a new Delica that’s coming soon from a dealer.

I doubt that it was feasible to only buy enough of the steel to make these knives.

The wait was worth it! I am impressed with the centering, sharpness and overall fit and finish. The blade looks attractive with a uniform lamination line.

Maybe it's just lighting, but that lockbar looks matte gold instead of a gawdy/shiny gold. I'm glad to see that.

The lock bar is a subtle matte gold. If the hardware would have been gold, it would have looked so sweet.

I don't know. I always find gold kind of tacky. I ignored the lockbar to get the steel.

I don't think mine's even made it to the border yet.

Mine arrived today, I like the matte gold. It fits the Endura's utilitarian nature, IMHO. Regular shiny gold would look better on a higher end knife, so you can your get pimp daddy look going on.

Got mine today. Ive had an endura on my list for a long time. A buddy of mine had one in vg10 and I was just waitin for something really nice. Black n gold with super gold steel is a good combo. I think I'll enjoy cutting/slicing with this thing.

The paper included says it's (TiN) titanium nitride coating that provides look and function by reducing friction and increasing the parts wear resistance.

I received my Delica yesterday. I have to say the lamination lines on mine are the most even I've seen.

So, good news!

I had talked to a MassDrop rep who told me they weren’t going to release another drop of these. That didn’t sound right to me as I had been told differently awhile back, so I asked to have the question escalated.

A supervisor reached out to me today and said they sold roughly 500 out of their initial order of 1000 Delica SG2s. There will be a drop limited to roughly 500 knives in the near future.
