May 14th Roll Call!

Hi Guys -

I sent instructions and my address - this is about the best way I know to tell folks to get to my house when coming in from the highway.

Jeff - if you are coming in from Peoria, you can get off on the Maxwell road exit from 474 and then take 116 to Cameron Lane, turn left and follow Cameron to Lancaster road - then turn right and follow the instructions in the pm.

I look forward to some fun with you fellows.

best regards -

Almost here! My knives, show and tell knives, and prize knives are packed. Fishing kit is done. (thanks Sean for the advice) $20 (really $16) kit is all packed up. The Boss will make the beans tomorrow. I`m ready!!!

Hi Sean -

I had sent you a pm - but I just emailed you as well -

See you Saturday!

Hi John -

We are getting close! I have some really nice Ribeye's that my wife had cut at Sam's, now all that is left to do is get ice for the cooler!

Being old and senile, I was looking for something in the drawers of my leatherworking bench, and found more knives to give as prizes! These are "oddballs" that I just figured would never sell, so I tossed them in the drawer and forgot about them! It looks like everyone will be going home with a JK.

Does anyone need an actual fishing rod to use? I was planning on bringing at least two but could bring more if someone would like to do a bit of "real fishing".

John, as always, your generosity is nothing short of amazing!

Hey guys - can I get an official head count so I can make sure I have food for everyone? I think I am hearing John, Sogetsu, jds1, outdoorsfan, uncle bill - anyone else?

Sean - I have at least 10 poles rigged - but bring whatever you like.

It is supposed to rain tomorrow, but it will be 79 degrees.

I wish I could be there but I'm stuck in Georgia. I'll be thinking of you guys though, please have a beer for me.

I am so jealous. You guys have fun. And don't forget to take pictures. I'm really anxious to see those folders in use.

Hi Mack -

It is raining here, but the beer and good times are flowing.

Plenty of pictures being taken - lots of great JK knives being given as prizes. Outdoorsfan won the $20 survival kit contest, with jds1 a very close second.

best regards -

Very cool. A little rain shouldn't dampen things.
Thanks for keeping me in the loop.
