Update: Released. See post https://www.bladeforums.com/threads...agnacut-aluminum-handle.2035837/post-23074303 for details.

May the 4th is on Sunday this year. Wondering if Buck will stick with the Star Wars theme. Last year was the first BOTM weekend release for May the 4th on a Saturday. Maybe they will do the first Sunday release.

Past May the 4th releases:
2021 830 Marksman (Stormtrooper)

2022 417 Budgie (R2-D2)

2023 110 Slim Pro TRX (C-3PO)

2024 112 Slim Pro TRX (Darth Vader or some say Darth Maul)

Honestly, I don’t really get the hate for cerakote. Let’s face facts, most of these knives are going into collections where the paint will never get a mark on it and if you want cool Star Wars knives I’m not really sure how you realistically get them without cerakote. Every month I see people upset about cerakote but people keep buying the knives… 😂 lol

It works fine, especially on collectibles like BOTM knives. At least it keeps things interesting. And as a coating it really isn’t too bad.

I agree for collectors. I really like the cerakote on my blackout mini deploy. It's taken quite a beating and the blade doesnt looks so great anymore, but it's a user so I see it as character. It's currently at Buck getting a new spring because I fidget with it at my desk during meetings and definitely exceeded the duty cycle on the spring. Lol.

I've probably added the 838 blackout with the wharncliffe to my cart 20 or more times since the wharncliffe became an option. One of these days, I'll pull the trigger! Those blackout deploys are some of the coolest looking knives out there.

I'm still missing 2023s from my collection. I could see white burlap and brown combo since that's how luke was first dressed as well as Rey

I suppose some of the things that have always interested me, seem wierd to others. But I'm 76 years old, and I can honestly say that I have never, ever, seen a Star Trek or Star Wars movie or TV show.

You are probably too young... ?

My father who would have been older than you took me on my 6th birthday.

So, you were too old to go for yourself, but too young to have kids at the time?

The first Star Wars movie came out in 1977 (or was it 76' ?)...
I went to it 4 times back then. It isn't that I am one to watch movies more than once. But I kept on walking into groups of people that were going, and they asked me if I wanted to go along. My friends parents were taking the family and they asked if I wanted to go. I had to, I had a massive crush on my friend's sister.😀
