seems ridiculous to stop at this point, if all you say is true. By proceeding you may get money or at least help the BF community. This case is still murky and could use some clarity.
Shouldn't be that hard to produce something-a screen shot showing the money gone., an Email from PP, something. We really don't need the hacked named.
or provide the buyer with it if you don't want to provide us with it.

You don't have to name names. Just provide proof to back up what you have said happened. I don't know what you expected bringing this up here. We are not just some mob that will ostracize a member based only on the confusing word of another member. We need proof. It is more than unsettling that you are unwilling to provide any and your reaction to the request to do so is irrational at best. Please reconsider. These threads can turn in any direction based on how the involved parties handle the scrutiny of this very knowledgeable community. Do the right thing and show some evidence.

FYI I've been burnt once too(sent $ pp f&f ....and never got my Surefire flash light. pp said - sorry, nothing we can do)on GT, by a seller who is no longer with us.....

So I know the feeling OP....sorry about your ordeal.

I was just telling other members that’s it
What would you do you have 50 in your pp account then I’m -$225 negative,then I called PayPal and they figured out that that payment was hacked from another pp member,and the name that sent the money was mayo,so what else do you want?call PayPal and let them tell you what they told me.

PP isn't going to tell an outsider about anyone's account
I have never seen so much dancing around a problem as you 2 do. You won't show anything to back up your claims-for all we know you are sending this from the insane asylum, and all the buyer will say is his reputation speaks for itself and not address this at all.
We don't want to see anyone beat out of their money, but you need to help us help you. This should be a solvable problem or someone banned.
If this is where it ends you both belong on ignore lists at the least
 
conjecture accusations and absolutely no proof or communication on either side to try to resolve this ... need adult conversation and communication ... otherwise all the "my record speaks for itself" ... and "he stole from me" ... mean very little ...

several members have asked for some calm communication and proof from both parties involved as to what happened ... without that this is just wasted time ...

What does f&f have to do with this? You didn’t send money, you received money.

F&f is discouraged because you lose buyer protection (along with violating PayPal T&C). Plus, if the payment to you was rescinded by PayPal because of a hacked account, I don’t think it would matter one iota if the stolen money were sent f&f or g&s.

This gets more incoherent by the minute.

Threads started in the Feedback: G, B, & U section should contain facts that support your reason for starting a thread. Remember there is a difference between opinion and fact. Keep your topic civil or hold off posting until you've composed yourself. Complaining about a person that has exercised their rights as a seller or buyer does no good, and it may backfire on you.

This isn’t rocket surgery. You (OP) sold a knife. The buyer says he paid from his own PP account. You say that PP says there were shenanigans and that the money was removed from your account. Of course, you also initially claimed that you were, inexplicably, out $275 and the knife on a $275 sale. That was probably an honest, though bizarre, mistake on your part. Be that as it may, you have offered no proof that PP deducted money from your account. I find it hard to believe that there is no written communication from PP explaining why it took money from your account. I’ve been wrong before, so maybe there isn’t.

It also occurs to me that the buyer here should have a receipt from PP showing his payment. That would be more helpful to see than “my reputation speaks for itself.”
