For anyone on the fence, after 2 hucks I got a Huck Fin and like it so much more. Visually appealing and ads to the blade functionality as well as being wicked cool.
Maybe more functional as a weapon but I would say that its less functional as an outdoorsmans tool. Still super cool though.
Not challenging, but hoping to expand my knowledge outside my box. How does the fin add to the blade's functionality
This is along the lines I've been thinking regarding the fin. Yes, absolutely believe it could add to the functionality as a weapon. If you are trained in that. For me, the added functionality is probably in hurting me as the weilder of this beast.
100% agree that the fin is aesthetically cool as **** (any and all of those 4 letter words in this case).
Order confirmed at 8:01. CF with black canvas.

Yup! This is exactly my problem too! This may be like the bunker buster from last year. Still kicking myself for not ordering one!
In for a Fin.
CF and Black Canvas.
What woodsman function would the fin impair? I think it would batton fine.
Not as well as one without a Fin. There's a reason why wedges and chisels are only pointy on one end. Lol! I think using it as a draw knife would be much more comfortable without it too. What woodsman function would the fin impair? I think it would batton fine.
I'm on the fence with this one guys.... don't know what to do.....I like the size of this blade plus the handle makes it look very ergonomic..... Decisions, decisions .....
Same here.Same here. It is a beaut, but still on the fence about it.
I'm still thinking.... I'm hoping that there will be some better offerings within the next few weeks.Same here. It is a beaut, but still on the fence about it.
