Good morning HOGS. I just noticed this, but Is the Fin sharpened on this blade? If so, I think just pushed me over the edge. I have some shop credit and might as well get a bad a$$ blade. It looks better and better the more I look at it :D. I'm still pretty much in a dilemma when it comes to coating. Thinking of Midnight blue with black canvas or Desert Bronze with maroon canvas..... more decisions.

(If folks dig around, they can scare up a video from Carothers Performance Knives showing a blade being carved by CNC machine)

I would normally never ask such a personal question but you broached the subject and opened the door, so here goes: what happens to the infi shavings after the blade's been cut?

Only you can decide for yourself, the only advice i would give anyone is, just look at it. The curves, the handle, the finish, the cbt, take a break and check it out again later, see how you like it.
 
Guys does anyone know if the Fin is sharpened? The coated pics look as if it's sharpened. I would buy it now if someone can confirm this for me. I've sent Amy an email, but still haven't received confirmation on this. Please help....

I think that its got an edge shape but isnt sharpened, just pointy, I could be wrong but i believe thats how all fins have been made so far.

Its the last call and I'm still undecided, I've been thinking I should just hunt for the Big Huck without the fin on the exchange, but that competition finish looks so good. I'm probably going to give in soon enough for a CF and black micarta.

I have been a long time admirer of Busse, but don't own any yet. I have been watching releases lately to find the one for me. I bought this immediately. In large part because of that sexy ass fin!!! I went CF and black canvas.

You’re welcome but I think it kills zombs just fine, it’s just not an edge to cut paper or shave with. It’s definitely functional in combat, it’s a nasty force multiplier and a brilliant design.
