I'd settle for that as well. I have stripped plenty of blades. it has to be very special for me to waste hours of my time stripping it.
 
I'm thinking about blasting mine for that DIY double cut. The hard part will be sneaking it into work to use the blaster.
 
I have debated stripping one if mine, but I have a lot of fun wearing coating off by beating on it
 
Agreed, I prefer Satin, but on some models I am not sure they will ever become available-On a Chopper the Need for Naked Infi is not a deal-breaker for me, because she is going to be a chopper, not a food processor-Don't get me wrong If available I will buy Satin or Comp, or BIG finish every time over a coated Blade! Just Don't think these are going to become available any time soon in that Finish!!Cheers

I can't imagine how wonderfully a stripped and polished B13 CG would sink through wood ---- I mean it's gotta be incredible. Should out perform most hatchets and maybe some small backpacking axes
 
Hell, I finally reviewed my orders and found I had ordered 3 of these bad boys not 2-Must of kinda liked the Bolo design-Good for me-Cheers

So, what's the over/under bet? This year, or next?

Ordered one of each, but still have concerns that the CG version at 0.25" will be too thick. YMMV.

If you grit blast it, you will want to finish with a bead blast to smooth down the coarse microtexture. At least, that is what has been posted over the years.
 
Seeing these B13s always put a smile on my face. I hope Thxgiving is accurate (or sooner). I was fondling my 1311 the other day trying to get a sense of how it will be.

Man...if I get dinged for mine (6) by Christmas....i honestly think i'd pass out from excitement. It's wishful thinking but i don't think we will see these till April-May next year.

If the HUCK's get dinged by Christmas that will be a feat in of itself! There are 22 blade designs that still need to be shipped out before then.

Shit, if my Urban Fudge gets dinged by Christmas i'll be over the moon. I'm craving new INFI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
