I missed the deadline, but thought I'd share.

I started with a Boy Scout camper knife by Victorinox when I was 10 or 12 years old. My uncle gave me a Schrade lockback when I was 14 or so that I still have. I got interested again in my 20's and 30's with Spyderco and Kershaw and the newer one-hand opening, fiberglass handles and exotic steel stuff. Now in my 40's, I still love those, but am finding my way to the traditional side. I have two BladeForums traditional knives that I particularly love -- the '07 Mammoth Ivory Canittler from Canal Street, and the '09 Stag Barlow from Queen. I have the '11 BF model on order.
