I'm relatively new to this forum, still I spend more and more time each day in this section, and lately I have been looking at your knives, and find them awesome. It is an amazing gift u will be giving, and also the chance of discussing the knife with u before you make it makes this giveaway even more special.
So I am in, and thank you for the opportunity of course.
And since this is your giveaway, instead of pointing out my favourite traditional (if such blade does exist), I will rather point out my favourite knife among yours.
I absolutely love this knife:

it has everything I admire in a knife, and I want to compliment you for ur work. Or rather, I should say for your art.

What a generous offer! Please count me in. It's hard for me to pick a favourite knife, but here's a picture of one of my favourite places; beautiful Algonquin Park in Ontario.

Thanks for the chance!

What a great gesture Rick!!!
My favorite knife will be the one I win from you!!!

Thanks for being so generous Rick!
I havnt been blessed enough to own one of your knives yet, but my favorite knife is my Case Sway Back Jack. (for today atleast).
Thanks again for the oportunity

wow thanks for the opportunity. i've recently been looking at making the jump from more modern knives (spyderco, benchmade, kershaw, etc) into the traditional style. i had one which was a 3 blade case i found in the gym locker room but i lost it (hopefully someone else found it and is using it) and i think one of yours would make a great replacement. good luck to all!

I would love the opportunity to work with a custom maker on a slipjoint (all I have contacted have said no thanks, or said nothing at all) so I would relish the chance to win this contest

At the moment my favorite slipjoint is a GEC Executive Whittler in Stag. I carry it nearly every day (have to give the others some time so their souls don't die from neglect). I am in scrubs all day so need something long and slender.

Thank you very much for the generosity.

Mr. Menefee,

This is a very kind offer!. And a super  original idea too!. I've never heard of a custom knife builder hosting a grand contest in this forum like this before. I would be honored to have the opportunity to participate in here.

Thank You,
Anthony

The following is one of my very favorite every day carries.. She's kind of a unique old gal and not a pattern one comes across very often.. Dating back around a century old at this juncture I believe, a Harness Jack / Easy Open pattern.. Stamped, MARSHALL WELLS HARDWARE, COMPANY.. Nice Ebony scales and a pinned shield.. Her half stops on both her main blade and punch function exceptionally well and near perfect after all these many a moons.. She lays nicely in the right front watch pocket of my wranglers just perfectly at 3 1/2 inches in the closed position and I am proud I rescued her, as it was a mission of mercy and a labor of love breathing life back into this wonderful ole pocket knife!! :)

I have carried a Case Stockman for many years. I have recently started carrying an ESEE Izula II fixed blade but am still drawn to the Traditionals.
I simply love your Swaybacks and 4 inch Drop Point BackPockets. Putting a knife in my pocket somehow draws me into the wilderness. Here is a pictues I took the other day on one of my walkabouts. I'd seen one once before but this time it just mystically posed for the camera

Thank you for the opportunity to own a piece of your fine craftsmanship

As usual, I am late to the party. As I don't have a pic to post, I will just say thank you for the give away, and I would love a chance at a custom knife, esp. a slipjoint.

Just a little change in plans. One of Brett dowell Kids will pick a number in the morning and post it. The winner needs to pm Brett and he will give you my cell #. Glad i got to do this! Thanks for the nice comment and supporting trad. knives.

Hey! Long time lurker, first time poster! I would love a chance to be in the contest for the knife! I've been taking a look at your work and it is just beautiful. You've perfected the art and tool combination. Because I would't mind getting your knives dirty when I'm out fishing or I could porbably sit there and admire it as terrific craftsmenship. Thanks for the oppurtunity sir!

Sasquatch1: Congrats to your "first ever custom" :)
I bet it'll be one of the best as well!
