Count me in as well. I own a few Menefee knives, some purchased here on BF. Just super products!!. Generous of you to do this.

I'd like to throw my hat in the ring. I've never had the funds to afford a custom, really.

Wow--thanks, and count me in! Here's a pic from a metal detecting trip to some late 19th century farm ruins that I took my family and my son's friend to last year:

Very generous giveaway. I've long admired your knives and I would be ridiculously happy to own one.

It's so hot here that I thought I'd go with a winter picture. These are the "snow monsters", ice and snow covered trees, on top of Mt. Zao in Yamagata.

Edit: I forgot to mention my favourite knife. I've got about a dozen trad knives; GEC, Queen etc, but my favourite is my little Yella CV Case Peanut.

Wow, thanks for the chance Rick. My favorite knife so far, because I carry it every day, is the 2009 BFC Barlow. The knives in my other pocket come and go, but this one is there in my right front pocket all the time.

Great GAW Rick! I have several of your knives & really enjoy them! Thanks to VCM for introducing us!
I really like your Swayback model, but how about a Cotton Sampler!

Kurt

Thanks for hosting this great knife giveaway, Rick! I haven't had the good fortune to land one of your knives for myself (yet), but look forward to owning one of my own sometime soon.

My current favorite is a little Covert I recently received from Tom Mayo:

I've been admiring your knives for a while Rick, please count me in on this.

These two have been getting the most pocket time of late.

Can't sit out a chance at a Menefee Folder.
Very generous of you Rick, thanks for the chance!

My current favorite is a single blade shadow Dogleg Jack made by your fellow Oklahoman Brett Dowell.

Wow, what an amazing opportunity! Thank you for your generosity in this offering. As one who has admired your work but never considered the possibility of being able to own any, I'm excited to try my hand at winning.

My favorite pocketknife is a Tidioute single blade scout with green bone scales and a great patina built up from regular use. Never had a custom-made, so I figured that the GEC is as close as I'd get. But as they say, hope springs a turtle, or something like that... :)

Here's a snapshot from a trip to Joshua Tree, CA from earlier this year:

Wow, thanks for the giveaway! I have admired your work in all the pictures posted in this forum. I'll put up a few pictures taken in the Kings Canyon NP back country

Rick,

Please consider this post my entry, even though I don't have a cool pic. I do like your knives though.

Mr Menefee I would love the chance at this...... I had a trapper you built but had to let it go...... Thanks so much for the opportunity

I am very wishy-washy when it comes down to picking a favorite of anything--from dog breeds to motorcycles to outdoor activities to knives--but the knife below certainly ranks with the best of any knife I have. It feels great in pocket (you can't even tell it's there), but it feels even better in hand. Yes, it's just a tool, but she is a tool that I have loved from the moment I first saw her. Of course, as a tool, she is also a user.

And just for the heck of it, here is a pic of a fox that had a family near a road my wife and I were driving on last year at this time in beautiful Colorado.

Rick

A very generous offer on your part. I have two Menefee's that are waiting for me, next week when I get back to Canada. As well I am on Rick's list for a knife next year. I handled a few of his knives at Blade this year and was very impressed.

I will post some pics of the knives next week.

In the mean time, this is a picture of our travels earlier on this year to South Africa.

I had to read Rick's post twice to fully understand his very kind act of GA, and many thanks for the chance. My most favored knife is always the last I buy, otherwise I wouldn't have buy it, but during the past few years I am reducing my collection to very few that I really have strong feelings to. I think that in this photo are my most favored knives, from above - Coats Barlow, Alsdorf teardrop jack (my first custom), Jame Barber half congress, S & M lockback whittler, Case vintage peanut.

I am a long time watcher on Rick's knives looking for the time I'll have the funds, I already know the pattern I want:)
