Merchandising to the max - History Channel: Forged in Fire

You need the Forged in Fire knives to go with the FiF pan -

.

I will give the FiF knives a few small complements -

The shape of the larger one is nice, it reminds me of the utility knives you see in Brazil and other parts of Latin America.

Also, I appreciate the fake forged in marks. Some firms used that ploy for a long time in the 20th century, so it's cute to see it continue into the 21st.

Yeah I guess its not pathetic, just another money making gimmick;too bad they weren't made by all the contestants that have been on the show that would be pretty cool...

I don’t have any problem with it. They aren’t forcing anyone to buy them. Out of curiosity anyone have knowledge of the price? Asking for a friend of a friend? :po_O
Wonder if they are full tang? I mean you can see :rolleyes: the actual hammer marks for gosh sakes!!

Remember it’s not what the knife does to the test media but what the test does to the knife! chopping coconuts ?

I want to fire a bullet directly to the edge and see if they will split the bullet in two pieces and the blade is still unharmed. Or whack a metal shield and still slice through several water bottles.

Those little hammer dings are so authentic and shows so much skill and laborious will, I can almost make out the sweat drops that were cooked on it just before the quench!

So cute!
