That's the best knife news in years! Ka-Bar makes quality knives. I'm looking forward to my new Necker and who knows what else. Congratulations, Mr. Becker.
 
Is there a possibility for forum members to put in orders ahead of the stampede and giving middle man profit to Mr. Becker?

Hey Everybody...

Yeah, I have lots of drawings of Kookries and they are on the list, but, not next year...
I have not yet translated paper to steel yet, which means no testing yet, which means it won't be ready for a while.....I want a really good one too and I will make sure it is a freaking monster before you all get one....

I think when delivery starts there should be no wait problem... and Natch for what it is worth I love my middle men although I also love your sentiment !!!!

Thanks guys for the continued interest, it makes an old guy feel good.....

I sent a email to Ka-bar asking where & when we might find the new Becker's. Here is their response. "Thank you for your interest. KA-BAR will not be ready to sell BK&T products until well into 2008" Bummer.

At least Ethan found a producer for his lovlies and we can save up for them for the next year.

I am sooo relieved to hear of the KBar deal.
