Cool friction folder & future noggin knocker, Jack.
Thanks Harvey, I'm afraid I still haven't got any further with the noggin knocker. In the summer, I like to sit outside, and work on my sticks, but I missed most of last summer due to sciatica, and the only stick I made was for the little lad next door, along with refurbishing one for someone else
That looks interesting, and beautifully photographed, as always

Thank you Jack. Here’s to your sciatica woes being a distant memory my friend.

Marbles MR409 "G.I. Pocket Knife" (As far as I know, the US military never issued a folding hawkbill pruner/linoleum/carpet/drywall knife, unless to troops who's job/MOS involved groundskeeping, carpentry/remodeling.) Currently in production. "Thrifty Thursday" Compliant; price as low as  under $7.⁰⁰ plus shipping, depending on where you buy.

Marbles MR139 "Fish Knife" (out of production)

Marbles MR278 "G.I. Utility Knife" (AKA: "Demo Knife") Currently in production. "Thrifty Thursday" Compliant; price as low as under $7.⁰⁰ plus shipping, depending on where you buy.

1975 U.S. ARMY RESERVES ISSUE WESTERN "Demo Knife"
Cost: "free" (after enlistment) Does that make it "Thrifty Thursday" Compliant? 🤔 Your call on that. 😁
Note the 3 (Three) differences between the Issue Demo Knife, and the Marbles recreation:
1) The Marbles has match strike pulls on all blades. The issue knife has plain pulls on all blades.
2) "CAN OPENER" stamp on the issue knife's can opener blade. (I guess one possible explanation for the blade's primary (but far from only) purpose being stamped on the blade, could be the Office Generals thought the Field Generals, Officers, NCO's and Grunts are/were stupid?)
The Marbles lacks the "CAN OPENER" stamp, but adds the "MARBLES" etch on the primary blade. The issue knife has no blade etches..
3) The Tang Stamps. Also, only the Marbles has the manufacturer stamped on all the blade tangs.

"SEEMEEL" Advertising(?) pen knife, by unknown, Sheffield, England. Blades are stainless. My  guess is this one is also "Thrifty Thursday" Compliant .... However, I may be mistaken. "Made in Sheffield, England" does seem to add a slight to moderate premium to the prices, just like "Made in Solingen, Germany" does. 😇
