Splendid single-blade SAK last week, Mike!
I'll post mine this week. I got mine as a gift from my department when I officially retired, so maybe it's an appropriate knife to post on Labor Day!
I like your straw hat, too. I used to wear something similar for summer fieldwork back on the dairy farm where I grew up, although mine wasn't as fancy as yours with the vents woven into the crown.

I never thought of this particular hat as "fancy"
Its actually a very inexpensive ($16 iirc) Atwood. Its been a decent hat. The headband became unsewed earlier this year. I glued it back in with super glue
Here's my current "fancy" straw hat. A Stetson that was all of $26
