Michigan 2013 Fall Gathering

Sounds great to me! I will be able to sleep in and stay up all night on Friday!:D

I could bring some jalapeno and cheese brats as well.
 
I was going to bring these as well for everyone's use if that's OK....

Even I won`t be tired Friday night! Connie is off Friday, so I don`t have to get up at 2 am!
 
The extended forecast is still calling for perfect weather on Friday & Saturday.

Great question...didn't even think of that.

From what I could tell online, I believe it is a state park. The land was originally purchased by the Federal Government but then leased back to the State and is under the control of the Michigan DNR.
 
Jeff - do you have a large pot or dutch oven? Since Andy and Cooper are both talking about bringing sausage, Connie said she would make stuffed green pepper soup, and I can bring it up in a big plastic container. Be something a little different for lunch on Saturday.
 
I am at a loss for what to bring...seems like we have the food thing pretty much covered. I will bring some extra beers, any other ideas?

Ok - Cooper should be at my house by 2pm on Friday - a little earlier would be better if he can swing it -

I will bring steaks, potatoes, cheesy hot dogs and buns, along with a half gallon of Jack Daniels. ;^)

I will have with me the Chopper Passaround knives, and you all will participate in the passaround experience. This will be a first for a passaround where we will have all the people at a JK Gathering give their review comments and have a hand at the knives. Included will be the Kukri and Beast, the XD and a JK Gamblers Bowie. Should be a lot of fun. We will have lots of pictures and I will record the participants comments for each knife.

I will have a couple flashlights with me, a large rolling cooler with ice and I will have some bottled water with me as well.

Sounds like a hoot!
