Michigan 2013 Fall Gathering

I thought about making a pot of chili, but decided I didn't want a real life enactment of that scene from Blazing Saddles.:D

Looking at buying a car soon, so that I would have safe transport up there.
But I will hitch hike if I have to.:D

Really looking forward to this.
 
Extended forecast for Saturday 10/12 is a high of 66, an overnight low of 45 and only a 10% chance for rain. :)

You can ride up with me - I may leave work early on Friday so we can head up on Friday - but also might do Saturday very early - we need to get this figured out -

Either works for me, but we may need to check with Jeff about Friday. One more thing, who the heck is "maan"?

I took off Friday and Saturday, so whatever works best for you will be fine with me.

I would offer to drive, but with Andy sitting on the hood of my tractor, and Cooper sitting on Andy`s rolling cooler behind us, I don`t think we would get too far on the expressway! :eek:
 
I will have to leave work a little early on Friday - it takes me 2 hours to get to John's house -

If Cooper can be at my house by 2pm, I will be ready an that will put us at John's place around 4 -

Do we have a final head count - specifically for Saturday evening. I am trying to decide on getting a filet roll or ribeyes since I get a certain amount of steaks out of a roll.

Also, since we are going to be there on Friday evening as well - I will bring some cheesey hot dogs made locally by a place called Rabers for Friday while sitting around the fire drinking. ;^)

Don't forget your giant folders for the "biggest folding knife" contest, and a knife or knives for the Shillelagh / hiking stick carving contest.
